MICHAEL CONNELLY "Nine Dragons"
There is nothing like Harry Bosch to be considered lucky. The homicide detective in Los Angeles, half the book away in Hong Kong, it leaves behind a trail of dead that not even the Reaper. A little story 'fiacchetta, too many coincidences and a lot of bad luck added, hopefully in the next book, while scheming with his half-brother and bring home their daughter.
